You have been invited to your co-worker’s house warming party. You enter the living room to see a beautiful clean, off-white carpet that off sets the black leather couches and modern black coffee table. Your co-worker hands you a glass of red wine and just as you take a sip from the glass you are bumped from behind and your glass goes tumbling onto the carpet along with the red wine that has now implemented numerous spots on the carpet. Never use abrasive cleaners or household products on your aquarium. These will disrupt the chemical balances your fish need. Additionally, you should never just add tap water to a freshwater aquarium. The abrupt change in water temperature can send your fish into shock.
