Glass shower enclosures are very popular these days. Their compact design, lovely glass finish and exclusive designs make them suitable for appropriate bathroom décor. If you want to ensure these stay clean for a long time, read on to know some great cleaning tips.

Choose upgrade products wisely
If you already have enclosures installed in the bathroom and want to opt for the glass shower enclosures then choose an upgrade product wisely. Ideally, you want to opt for one where the glass looks newer and sparkly for longer. These specialized glasses have certain compounds and surface products applied to them inside the factory itself. Thus, the glass is provided this unique characteristic during the production phase itself. This advanced technology implies that in the long term, you will require very little in terms of maintenance or cleaning. In such special glasses, all that is really needed to keep them clean is a little water spray!

How to clean
In order to keep your glass shower enclosures looking cleaner for longer you need to use a spray bottle filled with clean water. Just spray the water along the glass. Then use a clean and dry as well as soft cloth to wipe the surface. While the water will certainly clean the glass, you do not want the droplets to form unsightly patterns on the glass! This is why wiping the glass dry is essential.

When to use soap solution
The ideal frequency for using soap solution on glass shower enclosures is once in a month. You can use a regular sponge for this purpose. Usually, the enclosure will come with a kit that includes such a sponge. Take the sponge and dip it into the soap solution. Make sure the soapy water is a little warm. This way, the grime accumulated will easily come off. Then rub across the glass in a downward fashion with the sponge. Rinse with plain water and then wipe dry with a clean, dry, soft cloth.

Stain removal techniques
Glass shower enclosures require stain removal treatments semi-annually. There are special stain removal products available in the market, which do the job just fine. These are good for especially tough spots and stains, which do not come off with just water or soap solution.

Revitalization of the glass
After a period of extended wear and tear, the glass shower enclosures will need some revitalizing. You can understand when this treatment is needed when the water stops beading on the glass. By investing in pre-treated glass shower enclosures you save on cleaning and maintenance time.

At http://www.vigoindustries.com we specialize in providing you the best glass shower enclosures in the market.

If there’s one area of the house that takes the most abuse it has to be the bathroom. It’s a chore no one wants to do and, left alone, can create damage and safety hazards to people in the house. This article will discuss cleaning techniques and time-saving devices to help the chore not seem so daunting. We will also try to help train other people, the children, daily tasks that will help on cleaning day.

One of the worst places for cleanliness is actually under the sink, in the cabinet. It is good to completely remove everything from underneath the cabinet. We need to inspect for dampness and leaks to make sure no water is sitting on the wood. Standing water can rot wood very quickly and can attract bugs and mold making it even a bigger mess. With all the items from underneath the sink gone you can do a visual inspection with a flashlight to make sure there is no visible damage. This is a good time to give it a thorough wipe down with a quality cleaner and spray some preventative bug spray to make sure no critters are getting in. Shopping for some good organizers to hold your cleaning supplies is a cheap easy way to keep the clutter to a minimum.

On our counter tops we set everything from tooth paste to hairspray and that area can get a lot of build up from all the different chemicals we used to get ready every day. Remove all the items from the counter top and give it a good cleaning. This will give us an opportunity to check the caulking around the sinks and faucets set. These are both good places for water to leak down under the sink. Check the back splash as well for any cracking caulking that would allow water to seep in. The counter top is also a good place for plastic organizers. If the items are returned to the organizer every day all that has to happen is for them to be lifted up to clean underneath. We all know the standard put the cap back on the toothpaste but it does help keep your area clean.

The actual sink bowl should be wiped down daily to prevent germs from growing in the drain area. Also the stopper should be removed every week to make sure no hair or other items are impeding the flow of water through drain. Having a small bottle of cleaner and a sponge next to the sink makes this job automatic.

Cleaning bathroom sinks is important for proper hygiene and equipment longevity. The proper sink can help with the chore.

If you look at your medicine cabinet and you feel queasiness instead of relief, you look at your bathroom mirror and you can’t even recognize your face or you don’t even retain information of the color of your bathroom’s tiles, without any doubt you badly need to perform serious bathroom cleaning. This article will provide you the most efficient steps in bringing your bathroom to its sparkling and refreshing look once again.

These are the things that you will need when cleaning the bathroom:

Comfortable cleaning clothes

Step-ladder

Dust mop with long handle

Sponges

Plastic sack

Cleansers or solutions

Small pail or bucket

Obviously, you need to devote some time to effectively accomplish bathroom cleaning. First off, you need to wear comfy clothes. The outfits that you should choose are those that can facilitate moving freely, so you can reach the corners of your bathroom. After putting on the appropriate garments, the next thing that you should do is to eliminate the clutter in your bathroom. You should start by cleaning your medicine cabinet. Look at the labels of the medicines and put the pills, supplements and other medications that are expired already and other stuff that you don’t need anymore.

The bathroom cleaning procedures should be carried out without any distractions inside the comfort room. You should get rid of the laundry if they are placed inside. Put away things that do not have any significance with your cleaning undertaking.

When doing bathroom cleaning, you should start dusting the corners and ceiling first. This eliminates any possibility of repeating any chores in case you forget to look at these places initially. All wall arts inside should be cleaned and wiped-out to eliminate dust build-up. When dealing with photographs and framed art, you should make sure that you do not use spray cleaner in these pieces. This is because the solutions can seep through the glass and spoil your pictures. You should use a light wet cloth instead and wipe them off with old newspapers to make the glass clean and shiny.

Dusting the fans and vents is a vital step in bathroom cleaning. You should clean the exterior of the fans and vents with a cleanser or solution mixed with water and wipe the dirt away using an unsoiled cloth. Fixtures inside the bathroom should be detached, washed and dried before placing them back.

The curtains, blinds or draperies inside your bathroom should be washed and cleaned accordingly. Bathroom cleaning entails window treatments and appropriate washing of the corners and windowsills. If you plan to replace your screens, you take them down and rinse them off suitably.

Bathroom cleaning is not complete without scrubbing the tub and shower and of course making the shower doors gleaming. You should not fail to notice soap crust build-up and have them cleansed using natural or commercial cleaning solutions.

The important aspects of bathroom cleaning are washing the sink, scrubbing the toilet, sweeping and mopping the bathroom tiles, shaking the bathroom rugs, cleaning the inside and outside of the linen and medicine cabinets, emptying and cleaning the trash bin, and ensuring that everything is dry after the clean-up process.

Bathroom

1. Always keep a container of antibacterial disinfectant wipes in your bathrooms. Every night before going to bed use one and wipe down the sinks, counter tops, and the toilets. At least by doing this you know your surfaces are clean.

2. Use a spray cleaner to spray down the tub, toilet, and shower stalls. Let your cleaner sit while you are emptying the garbage cans and hanging up fresh towels. After wards go back and clean your mirrors and wipe everything down.

3. Use a dirty bath towel as a bathroom mat on the floor while cleaning the shower to keep the surface from being slippery. After wards take to the laundry room.

4. You might consider hanging a squeegee in the shower and use this after wards to wipe down the shower doors and surround.

5. If you have small children that require watching while bathing then use this to your advantage. Take that time to clean the counters, sink, mirror and toilet. This way you are multi-tasking and killing several birds with one stone.

6. Uncluttered your counter top by keeping your curling iron, blow dryer and other equipment in the cabinet, drawers or baskets.

Kitchen

1. To clean your appliances and counter tops in the kitchen use baking soda or peroxide and this will make them sparkling clean and shiny.

2. Before going to bed each night use your soapy wet dish cloth to wipe down the counter tops in the kitchen. After having done this then place the cloth in the laundry.

3. After each meal wash your dishes and put them away. If you have a dishwasher then load it instead of having all of your dishes stacked up all day long.

4. If you are a pet owner then never sweep your floors. This only makes the pet hair move around and accomplishes nothing. It is always best to vacuum the floors.

5. Always rinse out the dish cloth after each use and then hang to dry. This way it won’t become all stinky. Also be sure to change it at least once a day.

6. It’s also a good idea to wash any sponges and pot scrubbers in the dishwasher when you run it.
